This directed studies course is an opportunity for
personalized learning that will allow the student to explore a unique
area of interest. The nature of the assignments will determined in
consultation with the professor and approved by the dean of the
program. Normally this will be a four-credit course; however, with the
permission of the dean of the program, this course can also offer the
student the opportunity for a deeper dive into a topic (eight credits).
